MOTELS

NWGCRC would like to express its appreciation to Best Western Inn/Baymont Inn & Suites for their continued support of our annual Triple show.   This motel has been providing clean rooms and friendly service for over TWENTY years.   Please help us show our local motels that they will want to have rabbit exhibitors year after year, by keeping their rooms and property clean.  Remember that your animals may be dropped off at the show barn on Friday night until 9:00 p.m.  The building is locked until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The Best Western is now the Baymont Inn & Suites - still located at exit 336 off I-75.

Baymont Inn & Suites 706-226-5022

Directions to Show Site -
From I-75, take exit #336 and go east on Highway 41 (North Dalton Bypass).  At the 5th or 6th traffic light (Cleveland Hwy), turn RIGHT.   At the 2nd or 3rd traffic light (Legion Drive), turn LEFT by Wendy's.  The building is in the Fairgrounds behind the Flea Market area.  It is the same location as last year.

WRITERS -
As our way of saying “Thank you” to all who write behind the judging tables during the day, we will have a Writer's RAFFLE - there will be raffle tickets in each breed folder.   Writers are very special people – we really need you and we really appreciate you. Drop your raffle tickets in the Writer's Raffle container at the show secretary's table for a chance to win embroidered rabbit/cavy towels.  Drawing will be held at 3:30 p.m.  If you’re not there, we’ll bring your towels to the next show you attend – we will not ship.

SHOW RULES

1. This show will be governed by the latest rules of the ARBA. Filing of entries indicates acceptance of our show rules.

2. Neither the NWGCRC nor North GA Fairgrounds will be responsible for loss in case of fire, theft or accident. All precautions will be taken for a safe show. All entries are entered and shown at the risk of the owners and while the NWGCRC and North GA Fairgrounds are expected to exercise all reasonable care in the handling and protection of the exhibits, such associations will in no case be liable.

3. No substitutions will be allowed except in the same breed, variety, sex and class. Any other changes will be charged a late entry fee as if entering a new rabbit, and the original entry will still be charged as if scratched.

**** This means that only ear number changes will be accepted.  In the past, we have tried to accommodate all exhibitors and take changes of all kinds the morning of the show and during the show.  Because of the immense volume of changes that we have had in the last few years, we are no longer able to accommodate any changes other than ear number changes. After 7:00 a.m., on the day of the show, ALL changes other than ear number will be charged a new entry fee, as stated in the above paragraph ****

4. All rabbits and cavies must be permanently and legibly ear marked.

5. NWGCRC reserves the right to add, change, or substitute judges as the need may arise.

6. Any exhibitor indicating ownership, harassing or interfering with a judge (or a writer) will be disqualified and forfeit all fees and winnings. No exhibitor will be allowed behind the judging tables, unless acting in an official capacity, which must be approved by the show superintendent or show secretary.

7. Once an animal is entered, you will be charged $3.50 entry fee per animal per entry. If you scratch an animal or do not bring the animals that you originally entered, you will be charged a service fee of $3.50 per animal per entry.

8. Exhibitors that have entered their animals according to Show Rule 7 and do not come to the show or only bring a portion of the animals entered will still be responsible for the entire fee.  Exhibitors that do not come to the show will be sent a bill and will not be allowed to enter animals in future NW Georgia C&RC shows until the bill is paid.  Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency or unforeseen illness.  New exhibitors with less than 12 entries per day of show (4 entries per show), may be exempted.  Repeat offenders will be charged!

9.  Rabbits should be in the show room by 7:00 A.M. EST on Saturday, March 5, 2011.

10. The show will start promptly at 8:00 A.M. EST and we will not hold the show for late arrivals. PLEASE BE ON TIME.

11. Rabbits and cavies must be in leakproof carriers/cages.

12. Show management are compelled to refuse entry to show room and to remove from the same, all diseased or unsightly animals. All entry fees on such animals shall be forfeited.

13. This is a no comment card show - we will be using control sheets only at the judges table. We will have blank comment cards available if you'd like to use them yourself and write comments.

14. No dogs (except guide dogs) will be allowed in the show room.

15. Each parent is accountable for the actions and/or conduct of their child/children at the show site. If any damages occur, you will be financially responsible for the repair or replacement of the damages.

16.  Adults are not to place rabbits on or off the show table for the youth. Youth rabbits must be put on the judging table by a youth.

17. NO CHANGES MAY BE MADE AT THE JUDGING TABLES other than those approved by the show secretary – Unapproved changes may result in your animal being disqualified by the secretary after the show.

18.  *** PLEASE CHECK ALL YOUR PAPERWORK before the show starts - each sheet for each show!  YOU are responsible for the information that is on the check-in sheets.  If there is an error, either because the secretary typed it wrong or because you provided the information wrong, you must make the changes BEFORE the show starts.  Please note that there is usually a line at the desk to make entries/changes so get there early enough.  After 7:00 A.M., ANY changes other than ear # will be charged as a new entry ($5.00 Day of Show entry fee), and the original entry will be scratched, with no refund - See Show Rule 7. ***

19. No rabbits under 8 weeks of age will be allowed on the show premises.

20. No sales of any rabbits or cavies will be allowed by anyone not showing rabbits or cavies. Any exhibitor wishing to sell anything other than rabbits or cavies must pay a vendor fee and must receive permission BEFORE the show.

21. Animals may not be entered in shows that are running simultaneously. Example: Open Show 1 and Youth Show 1 run at the same time – the same rabbit may not be entered in both Open and Youth Show 1.

22.  As a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, the NWGCRC reserves the right to refuse entries from all locations within 150 miles which has had a confirmed outbreak of RCD/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the entry deadline.
